The world’s first man, born completely without a backbone, has been inundated with job offers from some of sport’s leading governing bodies across the globe.

Invitations for board and executive positions have reportedly been received from hundreds of organisations, including FIFA, IAAF and even the IOC.

“It’s the perfect candidate” explained Hans Tiedus from FIFA. “With a series of contentious issues facing football at the moment, to find someone almost incapable of demonstrating leadership and fortitude is a dream come true”.

Oxford University anthropologist, Professor Jeremy Boney explained “It’s an extremely unusual case. An entirely invertebrate individual comes about only once in a generation”

Governing bodies are said to be bidding huge sums for the man, who wishes to remain anonymous, with salaries reported to be in excess of $10m

Sources close to leading head-hunting agency Cashleach have revealed an appointment decision is likely to be made in the next six weeks.
